Dancing On Broken Lines
Dancing on Broken Lines is a poetry collection that melts into the core of life, trying to fill the gaps left by the struggles of mankind. Endeavouring to join the disconnected pieces using the rhythm of ‘Dance’ that is never perfect in a life filled with imperfection. It explores the lonesome childhood of the author, the disillusionment of youth hood, and the resignation of older life. As the memories are drummed off the Mbuutu, the Congolese kwasa kwasa, the American Pop as teens dance to Jaba. The author resurrects from his earlier collection “Echoes Of Tired Men” to craft another lamentation but this iced with the strength of being able to dance through the sorrow of Life.
